Oregon Quarterly Estimated Taxes – Tax Year 2009


 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
The State of Oregon requires that you file Oregon Form 40-ESV (PDF) for any estimated tax payments required. You must make estimated tax payments if you expect to owe $1,000 or more when you file your 2009 Oregon income tax return, and the total amount of income tax you expect to be withheld from your 2009 income will not equal or exceed at least one of the following:
  • 90 percent of the net income tax to be shown on your 2009 income tax return, or
  • 100 percent of the net income tax shown on your 2008 income tax return or
  • 90 percent of the tax on your 2009 annualized income.
