District of Columbia Estimated Taxes

District of Columbia Quarterly Estimated Taxes – Tax Year 2009

The Disctrict of Columbia requires that you complete and submit DC Form D-40ES (PDF) to make any necessary estimated tax payments. You are required to pay estimated taxes if your residence is in the District, your gross income is not fully subject to withholding tax, and you have a remaining tax liability of more than $100 for the tax year. DC residents must pay estimated taxes on any wages they earn outside the District, unless their employer pays DC withholding taxes.

For more information, please refer to DC Form D-40ES (PDF), or visit the State of District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue website.
